I bagan teaching at Stanton-Smith in 2014. I taught 5^th grade English for 3 years. I currently teacher 4^th and 5^th grade math and reading Intervention. I absolutely love my job!

• I began teaching 2^nd grade in 2006 at Montgomery Elementary in Henderson, Texas. 
• I began teaching 4^th grade in 2009 at Sunset Elementary in Beckville, Texas. 
• I began teaching 3^rd and 4^th grade in 2011 at Laneville Elementary in Laneville, Texas. (Here I learned so much about the lives of students and their capabilities to learn if relationships and trust are developed. I saw some of my greatest successes as a teacher here because I took students who were struggling way below grade level and brought them to where they needed to be.) 
• Prior to becoming a certified teacher, I taught at First Baptist Church in Hederson, Texas for many years. 

I am married to my very best friend. We have been together since 2012. I have a beautiful, caring, smart, driven daugther who attended Whitehouse High School and graduated in 2022. She now attends Baylor University and is studying Speech Pathology with the desire to work with special needs students. We have another love of our life that we call Stella. She is a black lab and goes everywhere we go. We are a very adventurous family who loves to travel, camp, boat, attend sports events, eat great food, and spend time together.

• I am a HUGE BAYLOR BEAR fan!
• I like fashion and shopping.
• My favorite foods are Chilean Sea Bass and Sushi.
• I enjoy going to NASCAR races. 
• I was a cheerleader all through high school and college. 
• We love the BEACH!
• We love traveling even if it’s just a few hours away!
