I graduated from Whitehouse High School, so I am a wildcat at heart! I later graduated from Texas A&M Univeristy with a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in middle school education. I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Stephen F. Austin State University, and I am currently working on my principal certification.

My husband, Carl, and I just welcomed the birth of our first child, Corey, this summer in July. He has brought so much joy into our lives. We currently live in Tyler with our three dogs and one parakeet. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, getting my nails done, going to sporting events with my husband and family, serving at my church, and listening to live music.
